On the morning of February 16th, the sixth day of the Lunar New Year, fireworks bloomed and firecrackers rang out at the entrance of the Qingdao Supply Chain Prefabricated Vegetable Base of the Group, officially welcoming the start of the New Year. Director Jian and General Manager Gai specially came to the site to attend the New Year's groundbreaking ceremony of the base together with Xu Tao, General Manager of Qingdao Liyuan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., Wang Ge, Director of Group Procurement Management Shandong Center, Zhu Haitao, Manager of Group Planning Department, and other personnel. After the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Jian, Mr. Gai, and everyone studied the future image planning and design of the park together.
The Qingdao Supply Chain Prefabricated Vegetable Base of the Group officially started construction in early 2021. The base includes a 55 acre cold chain logistics distribution center and a 28 acre central kitchen prefabricated vegetable factory. The cold chain logistics distribution center is equipped with two modern cold storage facilities (with a storage capacity of 150000 cubic meters), which will be put into operation in 2023. There is also a comprehensive building (with a construction area of 5000 square meters), which is about to be completed and accepted for use. The Central Kitchen Prefabricated Vegetable Factory is currently under construction. After completion, it will introduce advanced digital prefabricated vegetable production equipment from both domestic and foreign sources, establish an intensive, intelligent, standardized, and large-scale production and operation model, and provide customers and consumers with a variety of high-quality, affordable, safe, and reliable products.
Realistic picture of logistics warehouse
The Qingdao Supply Chain Prefabricated Vegetable Base and Liyuan Ecological Farm are pilot projects for the Group to implement the integrated development model of the tertiary industry in Qingdao, aiming to create a one-stop catering guarantee service from source to table. The operation of the project is of great significance for enhancing the core competitiveness of the enterprise, building a leading brand in the field of group meals, and helping Qingdao create a model for rural revitalization in Qilu.
