From May 27th to June 5th, the National University of Defense Technology organized a comprehensive field training for the 2020 students. This training is very important. The leaders of the National University of Defense Technology personally went to the training base to inspect and guide the work, and made important instructions: the training is at the turn of spring and summer, coinciding with the thunderstorm season. It is necessary to carefully study countermeasures, improve emergency response plans for fires, thunderstorms, food safety, etc., and make every effort to ensure the smooth completion of the training tasks. As a catering service unit of the University of Defense Technology, our company proudly undertook the catering support work for this training.
In early May, after receiving the guarantee order from the school, our company's National University of Defense Technology project team immediately organized a meeting with restaurant managers and reported to Xin Haiyan, the general manager of operations in Chongqing region. After research, it has been decided that 34 elite soldiers will be selected from various restaurants of the University of National Defense Technology to form a catering support team, which will be divided into stir fry group, staple food group, cutting and preparation group, miscellaneous group, and liaison group. At the same time, Chongqing dispatched five functional department personnel to provide on-site support. This support task is under the unified command of Liu Shaoxiang, the project manager of the University of National Defense Science and Technology, and coordinated with the school to do a good job; On site tracking and supervision by regional manager Hu Liwen; Chef Chen Yong is responsible for arranging personnel and ensuring meal service.
In order to successfully complete this guarantee task, the project team followed the school's requirements and entered the training base three days in advance to carry out preliminary preparation work, such as setting up tents, installing stoves, cleaning utensils... During this period, employees had to work outdoors in the scorching heat during the day and face mosquito bites at night, which was very difficult. However, in the face of difficulties, Jianliyuan people have no complaints or regrets and never give up.
During the guarantee period, all members of the guarantee team are full of fighting spirit and stick to their posts; Liu Shaoxiang, the head of the support team, and Chen Yong, the head of the kitchen division, are conscientious and responsible, with excellent performance and well-organized work arrangements; Jiang Zhiming and He Jiayun, two restaurant managers from the cafeteria of National University of Defense Technology, led their team to ensure breakfast security and also put in a lot of effort; Regional manager Hu Liwen has also been stationed at the security base, living in tents with employees, participating in tasks such as cutting, washing dishes, and distributing meals, always fighting together.
The leaders, training team leaders, political commissars, and student teams of the University of Defense Technology fully affirmed the work of the catering support team and expressed their gratitude. Through this comprehensive outdoor training on catering support, the spirit of the support team's ability to endure hardship, fight, and dedicate themselves was fully demonstrated. They are not soldiers, but they have played the role of cooks excellently, winning honors for the company with their outstanding performance!
