On July 13th, the Group held a summary meeting for the first half of 2024 and a work deployment meeting for the second half of the year. The conference will be held online, with two main venues in Beijing and Qingdao, as well as multiple sub venues. More than 400 people attended the meeting, including Chairman Jian Shixin, Executive Vice President Gai Shu'e, personnel above the operational area level in various regions (including restaurant managers), functional and marketing personnel in various regions, as well as Gu Xiangyuan, Liyuan Supply Chain Base, and Liyuan Ecological Farm.

 

At the meeting, the marketing departments of Beijing Region, Shandong Region, Shenyang Region, Chongqing Region, and Gu Xiangyuan Company respectively summarized the market development work in the first half of the year, and the management center summarized and analyzed the operational situation of the group in the first half of the year. At the meeting, demonstrations and explanations were also given on key information technology platforms such as Beisen Human Resources System, PMS Performance Management System, Jianliyuan 2.0 System, and Merchant Management Platform.

The group leaders carefully listened to the reports of various departments and provided targeted comments, focusing on five requirements:

 

1、 Consolidate the 'baseline' and form accurate judgments

Industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and market standards are becoming stricter. Market personnel must take a correct view, not complain when encountering problems, and not use some unchangeable factors as a shield for progress. They must conduct in-depth research, find the right strategy, adapt to rules, and strengthen internal strength. There is no shortcut to market development. Only by doing a lot of basic work and comprehensively analyzing various information can accurate judgments be formed. We must not take things for granted and work behind closed doors. Only in this way can we understand the reasons for success and failure, and increase the chances of winning bids.

 

2、 Clarify the 'main line' and focus on target customers

The company provides sufficient support and a broad platform for market personnel, hoping that everyone can achieve results. However, some market personnel appear to be busy all day long, but in reality, they lack a main line of work and their work is seriously inefficient, which is a manifestation of "laziness" in their thinking. Marketing personnel must clarify their work priorities, focus on target customers, be brave enough to break through themselves, ensure effective workload, and persevere and work hard in the market development process in order to achieve results.

 

3、 Adhere to the 'bottom line' and take the initiative to fulfill responsibilities

As a leading enterprise in the industry, we have always adhered to our bottom line, using branded ingredients, providing high-quality services, and always being responsible to our customers. We must remain steadfast in our goals, further strengthen internal management, eliminate low standards, and strive to build the most high-end service brand for Chinese group meals. Similarly, every employee of Jianliyuan must adhere to the bottom line, strictly abide by the company's rules and regulations, fully implement the company's relevant requirements, take the initiative, not be a "scapegoat", abide by professional ethics, and always resonate with the company.

 

4、 Layout the 'long line' and solidify management standards

Currently, the group's information technology construction is at the forefront of the entire industry. The reason why we are making great efforts to promote informatization is to solidify management standards, truly build Jianliyuan into a platform based company, lay the foundation and expand space for the future development of the enterprise, and truly achieve stable and far-reaching results. Currently, the fundamental reason why some restaurants have problems is that they have not strictly followed the company's standard procedures. As a manager, it is necessary to establish an information-based mindset, keep up with the times, embrace change, learn and implement the company's management standards.

 

5、 Pursuing the 'high line' and creating greater achievements

In the current complex economic environment, if we talk about difficulties, there are a lot of projects involved. The reason why the company reformed its performance evaluation is to motivate everyone to challenge high goals, stimulate the potential and creativity of the team, constantly surpass themselves, and drive growth. Every enterprise should have a sense of crisis. Only by constantly moving forward and surpassing in adversity can growth and development be achieved. I believe that through continuous exploration and elevation, we will be able to unleash stronger motivation and achieve greater success.

 

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Jian Shixin gave a concluding speech, elaborating on the impact of the economic environment on the catering industry since the beginning of this year. At the same time, he firmly believed in the resilience and development prospects of the group catering industry, and emphasized four requirements for future work.

 

One is to increase the management of food safety and production safety.Safety is the lifeline and high-voltage line of the Group, which is more important than Taishan. Everyone should regard safeguarding safety as the highest standard of daily work, internalized in mind and externalized in practice. In our work, we must firmly adhere to our business philosophy, always use first-class branded ingredients, implement unified management standards for all restaurants, truly ensure food safety from source to table, and ensure the personal safety of employees and customers.

 

The second is to increase customer maintenance efforts.With the continuous growth of the group, the maintenance of old customers is particularly important. We must never forget our original intention, keep our mission in mind, always put customer needs first, maintain a humble attitude, constantly innovate service models, improve service quality, and ensure that customers never have enough to see or eat. The marketing, operations, and customer service departments should jointly take responsibility for maintaining old customers, identify problems, promptly rectify them, and prove that Jianliyuan is a trustworthy partner through practical actions.

 

The third is to increase market development efforts.The strong risk resistance ability of the group meal industry has attracted many new forces to join. As a well-established and leading enterprise, we must highlight our own advantages. In the fierce market competition, survival of the fittest, capable people find ways, while incapable people find reasons. Market personnel must always maintain passion, dare to take risks, and have the determination to "never give up until the goal is achieved", while constantly summarizing experience and lessons learned. Only by continuously giving can we reap rewards.

 

The fourth is to strengthen the construction of the supply chain and central kitchen.Six years ago, the group established Gu Xiangyuan Company in Beijing, which has begun to take shape, and the Qingdao supply chain base has also been completed and put into operation. Nowadays, many customers are bidding separately for catering and supply chain, which means the supply chain market is vast. We need to cultivate both internally and externally, not only providing good internal services, but also actively exploring external markets. At the same time, the use of clean dishes and semi-finished products is the trend, which is of great significance for group meal enterprises to reduce costs and improve efficiency. The group will vigorously promote the construction of central kitchens.

 

The recommended director pointed out that maintaining growth in adversity is not only the best proof of the group's strength, but also foreshadows infinite possibilities for future development. We should feel proud, but we must not be complacent. Faced with the uncertainty of the external environment, we cannot have any sense of luck. Instead, we should firmly practice the core values of "being a conscientious enterprise and selling reliable food", the corporate spirit of "never satisfied, moving forward bravely, striving for excellence", take the right path, do the right things, and fully promote the high-quality development of the group.
