On August 7th, the "15th Five Year Plan" for seed industry development and the Qingdao International Seed City Construction Seminar were held grandly in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao. This seminar brought together numerous academicians, experts, government leaders, and entrepreneurs from home and abroad to jointly explore the future trends of seed industry development and new opportunities for international cooperation. Before the meeting, the attending guests visited the Jianliyuan Qingdao Supply Chain Base, and the Chairman of the Group, Jian Shixin, personally received and accompanied them.
As a typical demonstration project in the Qingdao West Coast New Area, the Qingdao Supply Chain Base of the Group showcases the active exploration and practice of Jianliyuan in the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries.
Primary production: ecological farm. The project covers an area of 1072 acres and plans to construct three major sections: facility agriculture planting, outdoor planting and training, and supporting services. Entering the farm, modern agricultural facilities such as multi span arched greenhouses and winter warm sunlight greenhouses are readily available. Not only are various high-quality fruits and vegetables cultivated through aerospace breeding, but the entire process is also finely managed and safely traced through the Internet of Things and blockchain technology, ensuring the green, healthy, and controllable safety of fruit and vegetable products. At present, the farm products have passed multiple green certifications and have won honors such as "China Ecological Food Production Demonstration Base" and "Qingdao Smart Agriculture Application Base".
Secondary industry: Fresh food factory. The total investment of the project is 110 million yuan, covering an area of 27.86 acres, and the main body has passed the completion acceptance. The factory will introduce advanced production equipment from both domestic and foreign sources, committed to achieving modernization, standardization, and intensification of food processing, and adopt a personalized customization model of "production based on sales" to meet the diverse needs of different customers. The operation of fresh food factories is not only conducive to promoting the standardization and industrialization of Chinese cuisine, but also significantly saves production costs through intensive production, reduces urban kitchen waste, and effectively alleviates problems such as labor difficulties and technical shortages in the group catering industry.
Third industry: Cold chain logistics distribution center. The project covers an area of 55 acres with a total investment of 150 million yuan. It has built a modern cold storage and comprehensive building with a storage capacity of 150000 cubic meters. The distribution center relies on the large customer base of the group to provide customers with full category food delivery services. At the same time, the company also collaborates with authoritative domestic inspection agencies to establish advanced laboratories that conduct daily food ingredient testing to ensure food safety. In addition, through the construction of information technology platforms, closed-loop management of the entire supply chain system has been achieved, improving the efficiency and accuracy of production and demand docking.
During the visit, the attending guests conducted on-site observations of the supply chain base and watched the group's promotional video together. They highly appreciated the achievements of Jianliyuan in modern agriculture, technological innovation, and industrial integration. They unanimously believe that the successful experience of Jianliyuan provides valuable reference for the development of the seed industry in Qingdao and even the whole country, and injects strong impetus into the construction of Qingdao as an international seed capital.
Looking forward to the future, the Group will continue to take Qingdao as a pilot city, make every effort to build a Qingdao model of integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries, and replicate this model to other major business regions in the country, so as to contribute more to promoting the development of modern agriculture, logistics and rural revitalization.
